Larry Hamel
Founder and President

As president, Larry Hamel is responsible for the development strategy of Codeguild products and services, blending extensive customer experience with technical expertise to create balanced, efficient and usable systems. Prior to founding Codeguild, Larry worked as Director of Engineering at Prophet Finance, Senior Software Engineer at Philips Medical Systems and Navis, and staff positions at Apple Computer. Larry received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. in Teaching English (TESL) from UCLA, where his research focused on computer-aided education. He has wide-ranging experience with software development, including financial, medical, multimedia, maritime, and educational content areas.
